Blackjack is really quite a simple game once you have gotten to know it, but there are a few things that even more experienced players would do well to keep in mind. One of the most important of these is to never accept insurance unless you are card counting. Insurance does not really guarantee any favorable results in most cases, and is simply a side bet to the effect that the dealer has a blackjack in his hand. There are certain situations where you may take insurance as we mentioned earlier, and that is when you are an experienced card counter. It is also important for you to learn how to manage your bankroll wisely, since this will have large role to play in the eventual success of your blackjack game. As much as possible, you should avoid sitting at a blackjack table that has a bet size that is more than 1/20 of your bankroll for that session so that your money will last longer.
